Rodney Pierce Simonds (1942 - 2018)
Rod was a former President of both the Los Angeles CPCU and California El Camino CPCU Chapters. In addition to his service as Past President of both chapters, Rod also served as Treasurer and acted as the Chapter's general finance guru. He graciously continued to handle the Chapter’s taxes for several years even after rolling off of his Board duties. Rod passed away at age 76, in New York on August 10, 2018.

President's Message for 2018
Happy New Year, everyone! I’m very excited for 2018 and everything the LA Chapter can do for you. I would like to begin the year by thanking the 2017 Chapter Board and Directors. It was a great year and we have our work cut out to make this year more amazing. I also want to take a moment to thank two amazing individuals who have played in integral part of our Board and Society.
